The practical bits.
What counts as an active student?
A student currently enrolled in a batch. Alumni and completed students stay in your records and do not use up your plan.
Do we pay separately for Classroom?
No. One subscription covers GIMS and Classroom. There is no separate bill for tests, certificates or the student portal either.
Can we use Classroom without GIMS?
Yes. Classroom runs on its own accounts; GIMS simply saves you from entering students twice, and makes fees, attendance and learning one record.
What happens if we outgrow a plan?
Move up whenever you like — nothing is re-entered, and the same data carries over.
What happens if the subscription lapses?
There is a short grace period, after which the institute is paused rather than deleted. Your courses, submissions and results stay exactly as they are.
Can we try it with one batch first?
That is what we recommend. Run a single batch for a few weeks, then move the rest once your teachers are happy.
